We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of March and loved our stay. It was peaceful with fields as far as the eye can see. The property was clean, the bedding quality and cosy and all of the added extras showed real thought had gone into everything with a fantastic little welcome basket full of treats and such a lovely atmosphere.
The stair gate at the top of the stairs was great to keep our baby safe and the log fire was toasty and perfect for evenings.
We cant wait to come back.

We have just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay at Oakenbank Barn.
It had everything provided for a much needed rest and unwind.
The information pack meant we had some great walks straight from the barn and some also from the village down the hill. The welcome pack was lovely.
We’ve never used a log burner before and with the instructions given it was easy to use and warmed the barn up amazingly!
We can’t wait to return again, thank you.

We (2 adults) had a pleasant stay at Oakenbank Barn. It could accommodate 2 more adults or children. It is an open plan design with 2 single beds on the mezzanine level, and a double in the main living area. We found the barn very clean, good parking for one car and very quiet, if you want peace, then this is perfect. Just a short drive or walk ( downhill) into the village. Nice enclosed patio garden with seating and ample supply of logs should you need to use the log burner inside the living room. ( we didn’t need it so can’t really comment). Nice welcome pack on arrival. Lots of walking or cycling routes around the area.
We had a lovely peaceful weekend at the Barn. It was in a great location and it was very comfortable, clean and well equipped! We will definitely be going back.
Really pleased with our week at Oakenbank Barn. The location is in an extremely attractive area but still close to many places of interest and close to Manchester. The facilities are excellent and the welcome pack was more than expected. We would highly recommend this to anyone who is happy with studio type accommodation.
We've just stayed at Oakenbank Barn for a long weekend and had a lovely time. It was perfect for us and our 15 year old pet Labrador - and the ideal base for exploring the local attractions and stunning countryside. We'll definitely be returning in the near future.

This is one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever been to! The house was fantastic with everything we needed. We loved having the log burner and the location was perfect. There were great walks right from the front door and so much to do in the area. The owners went out of their way to make this a wonderful holiday and I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended ☺️
